Home Stay Student.

We are hosting a Japanese exchange student at the moment, her name is Asuka, she is studying International business at ACU for a month. We have been showing her the Aussie life so we had a BBQ yesterday, and Today we took a drive to Walkabout Creek formally Brisbane Forest Park. It was nice but I thought there would be more animals to see, Liam liked the Kangaroos. There was a Wallaby just beside the path and It let us get so close. We took the photos below. Liam wanted to get down from Jason's shoulders and play with it, needless to say he was put back in his pram. We took a drive through the National Park and came home through Samford.

Spoilt!

Today we decided to go for a drive to Caloundra, I wanted to go to the Babies and Kids market to see what I could find. Well didn't the little man score Big! Firstly Jason found the Phil & Ted sleeping bag for camping and he just had to buy it... When we unpacked the car this afternoon Liam just wanted to play in the sleeping bag. He loves it. Jason found the Noah's Arc toy. And then I found the Farm Gate Its interactive and Liam liked playing with the one at Play group (It was a kitchen not a farm) So we got that too. But the score of the day was a set of Thomas trains in a Thomas train carry case. (This will be put away for when Liam is a little older)
After our shopping spree we had a lovely lunch with Jeane and Stuart (Jason's Aunty and her husband) We had a great day shopping and visiting family. Tomorrow Grandma & Granddad are going to visit.

Liam and Kayla Cuddles.

Isn't this just so cute! Liam and Kayla have play dates together while the "Mummies" have a well deserved cuppa. The problem with all the attention from kayla is that liam loves to play with her but he's not so sure about all the cuddling and Kisses that she wants to give him.
