Vegetable garden Progress!

My Vegetables are growing well, I think I got the right soil mix, I'm loving the chopped Lucerne hay as a mulch. Even on the windy days out here, it is staying in place! Liam is learning how to water the vegetables without damaging them and flooding them... slowly but he is getting the Idea, He says "Like Rain Mummy" I think I may have said that a few times or so. Liam was most upset when he found a big red mark on the Lettuce garden where Jas has come too close and left a smudge along the side, the "Oh No Mummy" was just gorgeous. The way our lettuce are growing it wont be long before we can have home grown Lettuce in our salads. The corn has me Interested, It seems to just be growing so quickly, It is my first crop of corn I'm just a bit fascinated by it.

Happy 2nd Birthday Sienna

Liam went to Sienna's 2nd birthday party, It was at Gecko's Play Centre in the princess room, Liam went as a frog and got dubbed the Frog Prince for the day. He had a fantastic time playing in the playground and learning all about pass the parcel and other party games. Michelle made a fantastic cake with Tinkerbelle and her fairy friends on it!

Our Mothers Day Visitor.

On Mothers Day Jason and Shane went out to push Liam on his swing and found that we had a little visitor who had either fallen out of a tree or had not quite made the jump to the tree. It was this very cute little sugar glider. We took him/her to a local vet as instructed by the RSPCA. He is in the capable hands of a carer now, I hope they can release it back into the area eventually?
