A Family BBQ at the Park

This weekend we decided to clean out the garage and tidy it up (no it was Jasons idea but I had to help) so that we could fit Chunky into the garage and still walk around her! (chunky has a rather large ass) So we spent all of saturday wondering how we ever collected all this stuff?
Scruffy on the other hand was happily resting under chunky in his old bed. The afternoon turned quite horrible with rumbling in the sky and spits of rain so we repacked the garage and went inside, but not before i got a photo of the orange sky.
On Sunday Brenda had arranged a family get together in the park with her cousins and their family, We went along to Rocks Riverside Park for a BBQ lunch, it was a very windy and cold day but very nice in the sun. Alexander our Nephew was there, he is now walking quite well (we haven't seen him since Christmas when he was just taking a few steps at a time)

Well we didnt do much else this weekend except grocery shop, watch a movie, and I did some housework. we both saw Iron man at the Cinemas the other day and It was fantastic so if you want a good movie to see, we recomend it!

Mothers Day

Jason and I had a quiet BBQ for Mothers day with our mum's and Shane at home my mum Diane was visiting for the week, Shane and Brenda drove up for a late lunch. (They had some furnature delivered from Amart and the delivery guy backed the truck into a steel post, he was ment to come back and fix the problem on his day off but didnt turn up! Typical for Amart.)
So I would Like to say to all the mothers out there Happy Mothers day to you and I hope that you had a fantastic day.

More photos from Last weekend

This is a Photo I captured while we were on our way to Landcruiser last weekend to meet Matty and Mel I thought id share it with you. Jason im sure would like me to tell you why I had to make him take a side road of the main track but I think that you can fill in the blanks. (it was all about the photo really.)

Busy days camping with the Rochfords

Sorry everyone I have been a bit busy with starting Tupperware and life in general, so here is a update on what we have been up to, Jason and I said good bye to Terry two weeks ago which was a sad day, but he did have to keep me happy because he had already purchased the next vehicle. So Jason has been working hard putting the lights, and radio on the new Truck "Chunky". Last weekend we took Chunky to Charlie Moreland camping area on the may day long weekend We were camping with Jeane and Stuart (jasons aunt) and some of their friends. while in the area We met up with Mel, Matty and all the Ses Gang at Landcruiser Mountain Park. because the opportunity presented its slef we took chunky for a Test drive to see how she handled on some of the tracks. We watched some of the 4x4 events those boys and girls were mad! I had not seen such exciting four wheel driving I got quite snap happy watching the Hill climb, Barrell racing, and the Mud Persuit race, Jason is more than happy with the new 4x4 (phew, I was a little worried about that) Although it dosent have the clearance that Terry had ( but dont worry he has plans to change that) He felt that it performed well the only trouble we had was that we hit a large rock on the way back to the Camp ground and tore a hole in a tyre. Lucky it was a easily fixed at the local tyre place when we got back to brisbane.
My Time has been taken up with Tupperware parties, work, and House work, so Im really pretty boaring. We had my Mum visit last week, she had a great time while she was here, we hardly saw her as she went square dancing most nights and some days. She even went to Logan to go dancing! Dirty little stop out.
Scruffy is doing very well he had fun with Aunty Deb while we went camping. He thinks that the new truck is great because he now has a back seat to sit on (with a pets on the move cover on it) well I will finish by posting a few photos from the 4x4 show at Landcruiser

This is how 4 wheel drives take a bath at Landcruiser Mountain Park!
