Clapping is such a big deal!
I am so proud of our little man, just now with very little coaching he clapped his hands all on his own. It seems so trivial to most people but I think its a big achievement. We were admiring the Christmas tree lights, which are on a random setting so they are off for 10 to 15 seconds then they come on to flash, chase or one of the other settings. I clapped his hands together and said clap and he did it. The only problem is now I cant stop him......

Christmas 2010
This year we have had a quiet Christmas Lunch with Shane and Brenda,we then went to Tanya and Tristan's to give Alex his present. Again this year Liam was completely spoilt by family members and us. Here is some photos of him opening his presents.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, from Jason, Trudie & Liam.
Mr January
The Ses group that Jas belongs to (as a inactive member) has done a calendar his year and Jas is Mr January. (no its not like the fireman calendar.) Jas is using a chainsaw to cut a fallen tree. I took photos of Liam on the Metro flood boat when we visited the stall they had at bunnings. I had to share them with you I think Liam should be Mstr January next year. But Im a bit bias....

Camping!
We went camping for the yearly Johnson Controls Landcare Weekend, This year it was at Murphy's Creek at the base of the Toowoomba Range, What a Beautiful place.
It was our first camping trip with Liam. He made it pretty impossible for me to help unpack the camper and gear, until Donna one of the other campers came and looked after Liam for me.
Liam had a ball, he played in the dirt and ran around, chatted to all Jason's work mates and their wives. I didn't even unpack his toys.
On Saturday we all went out to plant 658 trees on a property, it happened to be the Treasurer of Landcare's Property.
They put on BBQ for Lunch and I took some photos for Johnson's, there are some of Liam on the farm and at camping pictured here. (Just a few, he's my favourite subject) We were helped by Moira when we were packing up, Liam ran away and she chased him, carrying him back like a "flying Baby" He had a ball, giggling all the way. All in all it was a fantastic trip for liam's first camping experience.

Wivenhoe Dam Day Trip.
We took our first ever family day trip on Sunday, to Wivenhoe dam to see three of the gates of the spill way open. It was a fantastic sight to see! Definitely well worth the trip out through fernvale. We discovered a beautiful picnic area, with BBQ's and rotunda's, there were 2 play grounds one small and one large size for the kids. Its a really nice place to visit. we took some photos of the spill way in action, there was an amazing amount of water being let out of the dam. so much that if you stood on the lookout and tried to take a photo all you got was WET! and a misty photo.
luckily there is another lookout closer to the spill gates which provides a perfect position to take photo's without the wet T-Shirt. Here are some of our pics hope you like them.

Liam's first Birthday Party!
On Saturday the 2nd of October we held a first birthday party for our cheeky little man.
It was just a small little BBQ and we asked some of our friends and some of liam's little friends to come over and eat, drink, and play. I have included some photos of this very special day.
