Little Buddies

It is just so lovely that liam has a little friend to play with, We met Cheryl & Kayla at playgroup last year, before both the kids were walking, I think liam was only 5 or 6 months old at the time, since then they have copied each other and learnt to walk and play together. Now they even kiss and hug each other but the cutest part is that Kayla has learnt to say "iam" and "odie" for Liam and Trudie.

Playgroup Easter Egg Hunt

Tuesday the 12th of April was our break up for Easter at Playgroup, as it is held at my old primary school we cannot go during the school holidays. We had a Easter Egg Hunt, It was amazing how quickly Liam realised what he had to do. It helped that it was chocolate that he was picking up. We had made the kids a little Easter basket each and went out onto the grass where the eggs were scattered in plain view, once all the eggs were picked up we put them all in the Plastic container to be sorted but the Kids, particularly Liam didn't want to let the eggs go. They all had their hands in the container madly grabbing eggs and trying to put them back in their baskets.
We were able to pry the hands from the container of eggs and take the eggs and kids back inside the playgroup room, where the eggs were sorted equally into the baskets.
It was so much fun for everyone I have decided that we will do a egg hunt at home for Easter.

A well over due update

It has been ages since I have updated this blog. Sorry. Like always we get busy and life just happens. Liam has been unwell with hay-fever again and well Jason and I have had the same, to different degrees.
We were all sad to see Asuka go home to Japan last month and then to see that japan was hit by not only a earth quake, but a tsunami as well!! we were very worried until we heard from Asuka. Fortunately she lives out of the disaster area and is safe, she reports that she has been doing fundraising to help people in need.
Last sunday was Shane's Birthday (Jason's dad) We celerbrated with Tanya, Tristan, Alex Shane & Brenda. Liam was most impressed with the venue as the steak house had a Playground for the kids. I will post some photos when I learn how to get them off my new phone!
