Monday the 12th March was cody's 1st visit to our new Dogie Doctor (Vet) John, He weighed in at 28kg! and was booked in for yes... you got it... Desexing! As Jason says he is now an It!
But we have a very loving and somewhat calm dog, we want him to stay that way, and not get all Testosterone charged!
The trick is he has to stay QUIET for 10 days after it is done? How on earth can I make a 28kg Labrador stay quiet for 10 days, He was not allowed to run, jump or get too excited.
I tried my best but I'm afraid I failed to keep him Quiet for the whole 10 days.
He was just going stir crazy on the chain at about 5 to 6 days so I started letting him and Lulu off the chain alternately.
So now for the photos and no sorry we didn't bother with the Elizabeth Collar as we knew that It was just a waist of time after Lulu was able to destroy hers in 2 days.

The start of the Transformations
They may be small little things but we have changed a couple of things in the house already, We got a nice shower head, and a New Letter box.
Jason is very excited as we took a trip to the local stihl shop to buy a new chainsaw and brush cutter! Both have already had a workout. We are cutting down the tree in the front yard near the road, Tammy the previous owner had it cut off about 2m tall and it has grown new limbs from the side of the stump, It looked untidy so its gone, and there is another stump in the same area we are cutting off lower so that we can have the stumps ground down.
2 Tree trunks lay at the foot of these two stumps and we have decided we will cut them up and stack the firewood for our new wood heater (On our wish list)
We had good news on the 10th of March... Our Boondall property has gone under-contract, we are hopping for a smooth sale, we didn't get exactly what we wanted for it but at least it we wont have to pay for a house we aren't living in and we made a good profit from it. The property market isn't great for selling at the moment. We were lucky we got such a great deal when we negotiated for this place. Here are some photos of what we have been up to in our country home.
This is the Tree & stump that stood in the front yard.
Along came jas with the Stihl...
Now there is a stump and lots of fire wood...
This was my first morning at our new home I looked out the back over the dam and this is what I saw. Just beautiful. It was such a peaceful morning.

Our Little man is growing up!
Since we moved into this house Liam has been sleeping in a Big Boy Bed! (Single bed) we had been preparing him for the transition for a few weeks before the move, talking to him about it and saying how he would be a big boy in his new bed. I am pleased to report that it went smoothly, Liam has had no real problems staying in his bed he has a guard up so he doesn't roll out during the night. He has the occasional night where he gets out and wont go down to sleep easily but the majority of the time he is good. Falling asleep on his own and staying there. Jason and I couldn't be more proud of him.
He is also Loving having some yard, He helps with the mowing and takes great interest in everything that is going on, If Jas is in the shed he is in the shed, If jas is using the brush cutter he wants to be there too. When Jason builds him a fort to play in, you can bet our little man will be off getting the hammer and nails to help daddy build it!

news from the country.
Well we have most things moved over to our little slice of country, from the city, Just 1 more trailer load to go. Liam and Jas have a new Toy... A BIG ride on mower, Liam keeps asking "mow lawn?" its very cute. He sits in between Jason's feet and holds on to his knees.
I am slowly unpacking the last of the boxes and trying to squish all out things into this house. I am also able to store a few things in the shed (sorry man cave) this house is a little cosier than our other one. But will be great once we do the renovations. We just need our Boondall property to sell first.
I have big plans for a vegetable garden, I know exactly where I want to put them now. Liam is waiting eagerly for a play gym. But all these things wont be done for a while, As we are waiting patiently for the right buyer... to come along for Boondall.
Here are some photos of Jas and Liam Mowing the grass.
