The latest Improvements to our new home
I'm so excited, On the Anzac Day Public Holiday we put together my new Vegetable Gardens and filled them with 2 parts premium garden soil and 1 part enriched compost. Following the instructions and ordered 1 cubic meter of soil for each garden and half a cubic meter for the small garden, allowing for a bit extra to fill a few holes in our yard courtesy of the tenants who lived here before us, I had 3 cubic meters of soil delivered on Tuesday. When we finished filling the gardens, We had what looks like 1 cubic meter left over! Much to my delight Jason agreed to let me go and purchase another garden from Bunnings on Thursday...
Guess what we are doing this weekend! Oh I will post some photos as the garden progresses and you can see my Tomatoes, Zucchini, Shallots, Corn, Lettuce, and carrots. If I can keep Liam from pulling the seedlings out...

One Very Proud Mummy.
This morning I was busy ringing the fire ant people, (They wanted access to our property when I wasn't home yesteday and they left a flyer in the mail box to call and arrange a time to come back). I thought Liam was watching TV eating his Banana, but to my suprise and Nana's (who walked in on him) Liam had taken himself off to the Toilet and done not just a wee but a NO 2 as well! Needless to say after swimming today we went to the shop and bought a new Train as a reward for being a big boy and using the Toilet. So as much as I have been secretly tearing my hair out over all the wet pants etc... I am now realizing that there is a light at the end of the toilet training tunnel! THANK GOODNESS

Photos taken at home
Here are some of the nicest photo's I have taken of Liam in the last week. I have had a thing for using my SLR camera lately. I took some photo's for our next door neighbor Tracy, She was wanting a few nice photos of her kids. Thats when I realised it had been ages since i got some really nice photo's of Liam. He happened to be in a good mood at the time so I snapped a few photo's of him, while I took photo's over the fence of the kids next door. (These are the photos of Liam in red and white)
A couple of days later I got the shots of Liam outside Jason's shed they look a little rustic and very natural I think. But I may just be a little Bias.
The Playground Part 1.
Part of the negotiations we agreed upon when we decided to move out here was that Liam would get a Playground, I felt that we would not have as much choice in parks out here as we did in Boondall, They are further away and there is no where near as many to choose from. Particularly shady ones for hot summer days!
Jason agreed that we could have one the debate was that I wanted it fairly well straight away... Most people who know me should know I don't like to wait for things to be done or I do them myself! So I thought that purchasing a ready made or DIY Kit would be the way to go... Jason on the other hand thinks It will be cheaper and better if he does it himself... So knowing me and being the man that he is (Trying to please me while we waited for the Boondall house to settle) Jason made Liam the best Tyre swing I have ever seen! I'm so Impressed with it that I can't wait for him to make Liam a Fort to play in. Here are some photos.
Oh I should also mention that Uncle Matty helped tie the knots to hold it up when they came over on Easter Monday for a BBQ Lunch. So huge Thank you to Daddy and Uncle Matty.

The Fur Kids!
Some updated photo's of Cody and Lulu. Cody is now 8 months old and has bounced back well from his surgery. Lulu is loving the new house and yard, she has lost some weight and is looking fit as a fiddle! They have stopped destroying our outdoor chairs (pulling the stuffing out of the cushions!)
But anything left near Cody is still apparently fair game!

So what have we been up to?
Well...
Liam has been helping Daddy drive Chunky the Navara around the yard,
He has also been Helping Grandad put his new Tractor away in the shed.
We have named the new Tractor "Big Red"
Liam had a ride on Mater at the shops, after swimming the other day.
This weekend the first day of April we went and removed the last few things from Boondall, Here is Liam helping Daddy unload!
Liam cleaned out Grandad's Trailer with the broom when we were finished.
More sweeping the trailer.
So we have been a busy little family, finishing our move to our new country home & settling in.
Id like to say a huge Thank you to Brenda (Grandma) for looking after Liam for us while we went over to get the last of our things from Boondall, It would have taken so much more time and effort without your help.
One Rainy Day
Recently we had a cold and rainy day, I was trying to find things to keep Liam amused and inside. So i remembered what they do on Play School, They make things with recycled Junk! I got a popper/juice box and a small box which was a tetra pack of stock out of my inside recycling bin. washed them and used a straw and a old envelope to make these great little Boats which Liam sailed in our deep white bath!
