We are all doing well!

Now that christmas is over and things are starting to get back to normal, Jason went back to work for 2 weeks and is now in his final block of TAFE, however it is 7 weeks long and he is not a happy camper! The tafe Teachers just ramble on and jason finds he has to learn most of the content at home after he has been at tafe all day, from what i can gather these teachers are not teachers at all and were tradesmen, this means they would rather talk about their caravan that they are upgrading or something totally different to what they should be teaching!

Jason gets so frustrated but as i say Its only 6 more weeks now!

Liam is doing great hes a happy little mover and shaker (no really) seriously I put him down in his cot yesterday so that his feet were near the end (like sids say they have to be) and this is where i found him when i went in to check on him when i heard some gurgling on the monitor!

Cheeky monster! He has realised he can move himself with his legs and bottom!

Christmas cancelled!

This is how Liam started his first christmas day, asleep on mummy and daddys bed!

Jason and I ended up with the stomach bug on Christmas eve we were sick all day, hoping that it was just a reaction to food we stuck it out, but by the end of the afternoon we realised that we were not getting any better and we still couldn't keep anything down not even water. I called for the after hours doctor.
We didn't get to go and have lunch on Christmas day with Jason's parents and sister and her family it was a quiet day at home with my mum who was lucky to avoid getting the bug. I was still sick on boxing day but Jason was ok on Christmas day.
We were of course well enough to open presents in the morning and then we went back to bed for a nap.

Liam on the other hand while he wasn't well he did score well in the present department. he now has a favorite teddy his name is blue bear or BB for short. We would like to thank Vivien for this lovely gift and also the gorgeous hooded jacket that she sent to him all the way from England.
Also to auntie Merle for the mobile, Liam will spend ages watching it.

Jason and I bought Liam a Jumperoo, ( more to keep Liam entertained while i get some house work done.) In the evening on christmas day Shane and Brenda came for a visit where Liam and daddy opened the presents in Liam's stocking and tried out Liam's new lounge chair.
