Happy 1st Birthday Liam

Today Is our Little Man's 1st Birthday, we made it. It has been a big year for the 3 of us, I'm so pleased he growing and developing a little personality more and more every day. I think my happiest moment was on Tuesday this week when i realised he were saying mum mum mum to me. He may have said dad dad dad first but its so special when they say your name.

I took some photos this morning to mark the day in digital megapixels.

I hope to see all our family and friends at liam's first Birthday party on Saturday.

This is what we started with
After removing the walls and tiles
Jason removing the walls.
New walls, water proofing & Plastering
Tiles without grout including feature tiles.
New Shower Rail and Taps all ready to be used. Tiles are Grouted and just waiting on Shower Screen which will be here on Tuesday next week :)

Jason has finally had some time to finish the tilling in our ensuite, I am sorry to say i have been very annoying and have been wanting him to finish it for ages (we wake Liam up in the mornings when we have a shower in the main bathroom)

here is the progress photos so far, tomorrow the grout can go in and Ray is coming to measure up for our new glass shower screen. I'm very Excited I must say.

I have put the photos from start to now and will post the finished photos when they are available. I can't wait to take my first shower in our refurbished ensuite.

Coolum Beach Holiday

Last week we went on a holiday with my mum at Coolum Beach, we had great weather untill the last couple of days. It was mum's birthday while we were away so we had a nice BBQ to celebrate, (Happy Birthday Mum) Liam was unwell with a virus which meant that we didn't get to do as much as we had planned to do, but it was just nice to get away and stay at the beach.

I took some pictures of Liam & Jason swimming in the pool at the unit and Liam's 2nd trip to the beach.

Jason Bought himself a new surf rod and was trying it out while Liam and I got all sandy playing on the beach. Grandma bought Liam a bucket and spade set so I made little sand sculptures and Liam destroyed them for me.
