The Baby Animal Farm.
Saturday the 28th July there was a fete type thing on at Rosewood so we went along for a look Liam got to go in the Baby Animal Farm. He had a great time, holding the baby chicks, and brushing the calf, patting the kids and the Lambs. But he had the most fun chasing the Chickens, He is pictured below holding a black chicken, I think it may need medicating after Liam was finished playing with it. He would chase it around the pen, Giggling until he caught it and had a cuddle. (This is why we haven't got chickens yet...!)

July so far...
Liam finds a comfy spot to watch the Bobcat...
Who is in my washing basket...
Its always the way all those expensive toys and all they want is the washing basket!
Liam has decided that Day sleeps are for babies... so here he is at 5pm in daddy's arm!
We are at that stage where Liam is trying to be very Independent... This is not new he quite often gets called Mr Independent, but sleep is one of those things he needs and unfortunately he has decided he doesn't need day sleeps some days, Today being one of them. He is ok for a few weeks and then he gets a bee in his bonnet and puts up a fight at nap time... Grrr. The above photo is a result of no day nap, Liam was watching TV with Daddy then all of a sudden he is asleep... good think he had a early Dinner as it was only 5.30pm at the time. On the other hand I have to say he is completely toilet trained now, It just clicked all of a sudden and that was that. We still use a night nappy but that is it.
Daddy was even able to take Liam to work the other day, Mummy had a very bad headache and so Liam got up early and went to Jason's work, he met all the "boys" had breakfast with them and even got his own P & AJ Services sticker for his shirt.
Daddy said he used the computer and the mouse, answered the phone and went out to pick up parts with him. They had a great morning together. Liam even got paid... (all went in the piggy bank) I'm just so glad Jason has a great boss, Thanks Paul and Anna your a lifesaver!

We have a new Drive way!
Our New Drive Way, all Finished!
Nail Bitting moments when we see if the truck is too heavy for our Bridge...?
The first step Photo of the Back yard... Removal of 50mm of grass and clay/dirt/mud...
Before Photo of the front Yard...
Before Photo of the house front yard...
We are so happy to have a new driveway done its unbelievable the work, Road base and cost that went into it... but we did get a great deal from TM Earthworks, Troy did a fantastic job for us and thanks to Mt Marrow mine not far away we got 120 tonne of Road base delivered on a saturday. We had a few hairy moments when we had a 45 tonne truck driving across our little bridge, but we are pleased to report that our Bridge held up with no problems and no movement. Phew... I think I was holding my breath for the first couple of truck loads.
We have now got a Drive way from the front road 110m to the shed and also 2-3 parking and reversing bays out the front so we can turn around in front of the garage. Its so great to have a nice driveway to enjoy. We Have also removed the big mound of dirt in the back yard and had all the excess dirt spread around the yard to level it out a bit.
The result of the driveway being done means that I no longer have to shovel mud off the garage floor from our boggy driveway.

We welcome "Nick" The Nissan Patrol to our Family, we hope that it is a long serving family car, we hope to have our first trip to Maryborough this weekend for Wyatt's birthday bash and to see Mum. Lets hope we have some memorable times in our new 4 wheel drive. (please don't give us trouble on our first 4x4 outing like Chunky did... We engaged the hubs and went well on the first few tracks and then we got to a fairly decent hill with a few wash-outs... hummm we were not going up at all... Little did we know the hubs were just decoration as the insides were striped to pieces and there were bearings all over the place inside. No wonder we didn't get up the hill!) Not that we blame Chunky it was just part of her character.
Chunky!
Fair well to our faithful 4 wheel drive "Chunky" we are all very sorry to see you go... we hope that you are with a good family who exercise you frequently and enjoy many family trips with you.We will remember all the great trips, camping and every day driving that we enjoyed with your help. We regretfully sold our family car as we have purchased a Nissan Patrol, which we have named "Nick" Jason would have liked to keep chunky for a work vehicle but with the kilometres creeping up slowly, it was time to say good-bye to her. I am particularly sorry as I felt that Chunky had great personality, It wasn't just like every other car on the street. I hope that in time I feel the same way about Nick.
